Athena Boulgarides is the Director of Estate and Gift Planning for the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and is responsible for the development and implementation of the

Foundation's Strategic Estate and Planned Giving initiatives, provides estate administration on behalf of the Foundation for new and existing donors and serves as primary contact with executors, trustees, wealth advisors and personal representatives to ensure the execution of estate gifts. Provides oversight for the Foundation's Legacy Council membership program and various centers of influence within the broader estate planning community.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Athena served as World Vision's Area Director for U.S. Programs in Southern California and led the strategic development initiatives for World Vision's programs in the United States. Athena's transformational and innovative leadership drove the design and implementation of a diversified and highly effective revenue generation strategy, while effectively ensuring its alignment with the organizations new strategic direction and promoting the strategic positioning of World Vision programs in the USA.

Prior to her role at World Vision Athena led the major and planned giving program for ChildFund International. Her dynamic and inspirational leadership as a growth architect throughout ChildFund's organizational expansion and rebranding efforts yielded powerful results. Athena designed innovative, effective strategies that aligned cross-platform donor development and organizational initiatives with international programs. In addition Athena provided support and direction for high-level organizational development efforts including board relations, international program development, software design and development, marketing, social media and web design.

In 2005 Athena was awarded Pepperdine University's Presidential Key Executive MBA program

full academic scholarship and graduated in 2007. During her academic tenure she designed and a civic leadership program that educated, inspired and empowered P/KE students to utilize their organizational and human resources to develop a path toward self-sufficiency for homeless and low income individuals through life-skills training, one-on-one coaching and resume building opportunities.

Over the years Athena has gratefully accepted leadership roles with several philanthropic organizations as a supporter, advisor and board member including: Child Care Resource Center, H.O.P.E, Special Olympics, St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, The American Hellenic Council, Greek Heritage Society, The Bresee Foundation, San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission, Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission, MEND, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Heart of LA, CASA, Echoes of Hope.

Her professional affiliations include the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, Pepperdine University Center for Estate and Gift Planning, National Council on Planned Giving, Partnership for Philanthropic Planning Los Angeles, Los Angeles Economic Development Corp.

John Shaw is Chief Development Officer for the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and is responsible for securing the necessary philanthropic support to advance the mission

of the Library and Museum. Mr. Shaw has over 25 years of financial and non-profit experience and is widely recognized as a leader in the fields of philanthropy, financial planning and investment services. For 18 years he served the Sisters of Mercy and Catholic Healthcare West (CHW) advance their ministries through philanthropy. As President & CEO of Mercy Foundation he secured $100 million in private philanthropic support for various programs and facilities including the Alex G. Spanos Heart Center in Sacramento. He concurrently served as Chair of the CHW Philanthropy Council guiding the 42 hospital systems philanthropic efforts where $95 million was raised in his final year.

Mr. Shaw holds a bachelors degree in economics from California State University Sacramento (CSUS), an MBA from Golden Gate University, and is a Registered Investment Advisor. Mr. Shaw is active in community service having served on many boards and committees. This community involvement and leadership resulted in his being presented the Distinguished Service Award by CSUS, and the Outstanding Fundraising Professional designation by the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
